Urban Land Conservancy (ULC) purchased the site at 38th and Walnut due to it’s close proximity to the Blake Street station on RTD’s A Line Commuter Rail, and the growing need for affordable housing in the area. ULC and Medici Consulting Group (MCG) announced their partnership in 2017 when MCG was awarded low income housing tax credits in 2017. In February 2019, MCG broke ground on the development of 66 units of affordable housing on the site.
Construction is currently underway, with pre-leasing expected to begin in October-November 2019. Signage will be posted on the property later this Fall with information to notify the community regarding pre-leasing opportunities.
